Acne is a common skin disorder. There are many causes leading to acne. When treated early, it can reduce the risk of scarring and effect of it to your self esteem.
It is very important to consult with your doctor first before initiating any treatment as some conditions may mimic acne. After a diagnosis is made we will discuss the treatment plan with you. The treatment offered depends on the severity of your acne.
To make things easier to understand, we categorise our treatment as follow:
Topical treatment
Oral medication , supplement
Extraction / facial treatment , chemical peel
Laser therapy
Corticosteroid injection
Topical Treatment
A suitable treatment if you have blackheads, whiteheads, and mild pimples. Examples of topical treatment are retinoid, benzyl peroxide, and azelaic acid.
Oral Medication
If you suffer from cystic and/or nodular acne, these are likely to leave permanent scars when not treated early. Treatment will consist of:
Oral antibiotics ± AKcombi B3 plus
Isotretinoin

Acne Extraction
When done professionally, we can reduce inflammation and remove comedones (large comedones sometimes can't be removed only with medication) without damaging your skin.
Laser / Light Therapy
We offer 2 types of laser treatment at our clinic to combat acne / acne prone skin
Revital laser
Carbon laser
Revital Laser
This laser uses a quasi-long pulsed 1064nm to penetrate into deeper layers of the skin. It helps to reduce breakout, sebum production, and shrink pores. There is no pain and downtime with this treatment.
Carbon Laser
This is a superficial treatment that helps with acne, enlarged pores, oily skins and uneven skin tone.
The treatment helps in removing dead skin cells, bacteria, oil, and other skin impurities. The process also produces heat which will stimulate collagen and elastin production.
Corticosteroid Injection
A corticosteroid injection to a large painful acne can rapidly relieve pain and reduce size of the acne, however this is only a temporary relief and not a cure for the acne. Repeated injections on the same area may leave a depression on your skin.
