Glow peel is a superficial chemical peel which contains active ingredients such as Retinol 3%, retinol boosting complex and vitamin E.

The Candidates:
This treatment is suitable for those with the following concerns:
✓ Fine lines
✓ Dull and uneven skin tone
✓ Acne
✓ Superficial pigmentation
✓ Oily skin
✓ Rough skin texture

Contraindications:

Pregnant or breastfeeding

Active skin infection on treatment area ie: Herpes

On isotretinoin for the past 6 months

Patient Preparation:

No laser has been done 2 weeks before the treatment

Not on isotretinoin for the past 6 months

No sunburn

Stop using Benzyl Peroxide, Retinoic acid 2 weeks before treatment

The Procedure:

Your face will be cleansed.

The chemical is applied on your face with a brush.

The peel will then be left on your face for 3-5minutes.

It is common to have a tingling / stinging sensation during the process. Do let us know when it becomes painful.

The chemical will be left on for 6-8 hours, simply wash it off with water at home.

The After Procedure Care:
There will be flaking of skin 2-3 days after the treatment. Redness is minimal.
Few things that you need to take note of:
- Adequate sun protection (SPF at least 50)​
- Apply moisturiser on peeled areas.

The Side Effects:
- Persistent redness
- Worsening of pigmentation - if no proper sun protection is done
​
The Interval and Frequency:
We recommend a course of 4 treatment done every 4-6 weeks.
