A nonsurgical method of lifting mild to moderate sagging tissue using absorbable barbs / cogs underneath your skin. There are many types of threads in the market such as PDO (Polydioxanone), PLLA, and PCL threads. We use PDO Mint lift for our face lift treatment. We choose PDO Mint Lift due to its stronger anchoring strength and tensile property

When a PDO thread is inserted underneath your skin, it will be completely absorbed by the skin around 6-8 months of insertion and continue to stimulate collagen for the next few months. This is why you will notice an improvement in skin texture and thickness along with the lifting effect after a thread lift procedure.

The Procedure:

You will first be consulted by our doctor to assess if you are suitable for this treatment.

After consultation, your face will be cleansed

Numb cream is applied for 30minutes

Local anesthesia will be injected on site of insertion for the threads

The whole procedure will take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes (including preparation time)
The After Procedure Care:
- Avoid rubbing face
- Avoid intense exercise, sleeping on one side, visiting sauna for 1-2 weeks
- Hold off dental treatment for 2 weeks

The Side Effects:
- Discomfort and pain
- Bruising and swelling
- Protrusion, extrusion, migration of threads
- Dimpling
